Foodie tour in Dhaka?

Hi!
Do anyboidy know a good tour company who organize a foodie tour over Dhaka? I mean a tour where we go around the city, visiting the best street food spots, checking the food and experience the city in the same time.
I had such tour in Saigon last year and it was fantastic (http://www.xotours.vn/). Just looking for something similar in Dhaka for my upcoming trip...

Hi toto!
Thanks for your reply!
I've already read Mahmud page (tt is increadable useful source of information), have list of restaurants etc.
I am just wondering if there is a tour operator who organize a tour around the Dhaka city, to discover what the city offers in terms of street food, traditional food bars/retaurants etc.
In most cases I do prefer to make a tour around an interesting city on my own, but in case of food, especialy street food, it is better to follow a local guide...

toto,
Mahmud already helped me a lot. Don't want to bother him even more, as there is so many travelers who need him as well ;).
Base on your answers guys, I can set up a foodie tour on my own. Only some street food info is missing under links which you've provided.

Anybody would add something about street food in Dhaka?
Where to go to enjoy a good, traditional bengali street food, in the way how locals do it, and keep stomach in a good condition?

You will find at least 30 restaurants/food shops in this road with traditional Dhakai items. Some of the shoe names : Haji Biriani, Hanif Biriani, Mamuns Biriani and etc. You also find some shops sell Bakhorkhani, Nan, Paya, Tehari, Faluda and greel kebabs.

  • Baily Road : This road is best place for food lovers to take different taste of BD food. Here, you will find many shops with traditional food as well as western food. There are more than 50 food shops in this road. Also there are many street food shops at Baily Road. Piaji, Beguni, Jilapi, Biriani, Tehari, Khichuri, Chotpoti, Hand made Pitha, Moglai Parata, 10/12 typed of Kebab, tea, burger, chicken fries.....everything, everything.

  • 70 Items curry shop at Toke, Kapasia.

This shop is located about 50 miles from Dhaka. They cook 70 items of curries every day including Fish, Meat, vegetable, Mashed vegetables and etc.

You also consider the following famous shops :

Hi,
I was there a few weeks ago and met students who took me to some great street food places and local restaurants in Old Dhaka. Wish I could send you a PM with their email, but I really wonder if this PM function will ever come back...

I found it by chance. You should read it because it is very detailed, thorough and helpful for all foodies.
