carnaval in ecuador
Hello!!!Any ideas where to go for carnaval next week? My girlfriends and I were planning on going to mancora but unfortunately something happened to the house we rented. We are a fun group between 23-25 years old from Ecuador.

ANYWHERE on the coast is going to be crowded during Carnival. That's unavoidable unfortunately. But I've heard Atacames is pretty fun, but it'll be just as packed as Montanita... same with all of the other spots in Esmeraldas and heading down the coast. If you want not packed, I'd stay in the Sierra and go somewhere like Ibarra.
