Yes but you dont need to. Plenty of better value hotels/hostels you can choose in town since your transit time in S'pore is very decent. No problem with public transport at those hours.

Thanks YumSeng
If I stay in Singapore would I have to be back at the Airport 2 hours before flight?Allow 1 hour to get to the airport?Wake up 1 hour to get ready and check out.You know its hard to get some sleep when your worry about sleeping in and running late for a flight.I am thinking sleeping at the airport I will only have to be at the check-in 30 min before flight.
Thanks Stump

You are already checked-in for your second flight. If you clear immigration 40 minutes before your second flight, thats not a problem, This is just a suggestion. :-)

Hello Yumseng
I had a good look at the map and as Geylang area is close to the airport and on the way to The Adelphi in Coleman St ,Little India and Viewing platform Wheel I will look at a hotel.Leaving Geylang area hotel at 9am should get me to the airport ,through immigration and ready for the 11am flight. What do you think?
Cheers Stump

Good idea. Just letting you know that the Geylang area in the vicinity of Aljunied and Kallang mrt stations may seem seedy for some. I prefer the area around Paya Lebar mrt station.
