Driving from Vancouver to Toronto in early May?
Looking to either:1. Drive your car for you from Vancouver to Toronto soon after May 5th (if you're relocating and don't want the hassle of the cross-country trip)
2. Hitch a ride with someone making that trek around May 5th
Any takers?
For #1, would only be seeking as compensation enough money to cover gas and an overnight motel stay or two. For #2 would provide gas money, snacks and sterling conversation.

I'm interested to see if you have any takers.I want the opposite. I need to get from toronto to Vancouver...or anywhere in the west really. But I go in a week or two

5000km is a lot of gas at roughly 1. 45 a ltr or more kinda feel greyhound the better way 5 or 7 ltrs per 100kmtimes 50 plus greyhound 24hrs on the go i did it twice was very cost effective bus was ok not full most of the time had 2 seats for myself and just sucked it up when the bus got full bought munchies at stops alon g the way5
Especially on First Group's sick dog, wuldn't wish that on my worst enemy.Drive, everyone should drive across Canada once, or take the train.
3 days is right, the diesel fumes must have addled #3's brain.

i wrote 24 hrs ON THE GO no stopping other than to take on additional passengers leave toronto on a morning arrive bc wed i went to salmon arm14
So what you seem to be saying (in post #3/12 is that "24 hrs on the go" = 24 hrs driving time? The speed would have to be 182kph when the top speed allowed on most of the route is 80kph outside city limits.
No way in HEdouble hockey sticks is this possible!
Post #13 The M/T/W 24hr nonstop = 72 hr
Plausible but would need to be pulling a tanker with fuel to make the 4370km without fueling.
So which is it 24hrs or 72hrs?
