Any apartments in Progreso, Yucatan?
I´m looking for a furnished 1 bedroom apartment in Progreso for from mid Feb. to mid April. I was there on a cruise ship and saw a lot of signs for rentals around town, but now when I look on the web I´m not finding much. Walk to town, and walk to the beach is what I had in mind, in the $600 to $700 range. THANKS! For any help you can offer.2
You might also try websites locals often use to find apartments:http://www.olx.com.mx

Another possible place is a local expat site:

Hola, I may have a lead for you. I was at a Christmas party at a small apartment complex on Calle 70 between 25y27 (check Google maps) 6-8 units all just remodeled. This is a really nice little place, everything is new, and it has a courtyard with a pool. It's just a couple of blocks to the beach, and maybe 6-7 blocks to the super market in the center of Progresso. It's owned by the same family as the Intermaya Hotel on Calle 78, and they all speak English. Try an Email to hotelintermaya@hotmail.com I'll see if I can find a web address for you.

I've been in Progreso 3 weeks now. RobertSDF at #7 above is right, I am paying just a little more than I was originally looking for, but the apartment I found is all inclusive, water, electricity, cable TV, and WiFi all included in the rent. Everything is brand new just like in the photos, perfect location for me, and nice quiet complex. Oh, and the weather here is great!ADVERTISEMENT
