Skiing in Republic of Georgia Late March 2013
Heading to Georgia for a couple days of skiing and then a tour/ ski mountaineering. Mestia is the country's third ski resort (opened 2011), located high up in the Caucus range. Very few western groups have been to the area, but there is daily air service and flights are under 1k from most US cities, 500$ from European capitals.Some exploration, some cat or maybe help-skiing depending on what we can work out.
