I would like to ask somebody who has been to Mada recently if we can get travel visa for more than 30 days (we want to stay 35 days) at the airport. There are different informations on internet - some of them says we need to get visa in advance, other it could be bought at the airport. There is no embassy in our country and the embassys in countries around didn´t answer our mails.
Thank you much.

This question has been asked and answered so many times, and if the moderators hadn’t thrown the baby out with the bathwater in their cleansing operation, you’d have been able to search the forum and find all the information you need.
No need to worry at all – #1 is quite right, though the information needs to be slightly expanded. Take a look at my post in response to “sexbeat’s” question “Madagascar prices 2012”, two posts down from yours – I’ve explained everything in detail there (you can ignore the mention of the embassy in Berlin – that’s only there because the OP is a German).
Unfortunately, there is so much utter nonsense written on this topic on the Net. I’m a frequent visitor to Madagascar, and to my knowledge it’s been possible to get 30, 60 and 90 day visas at the airport for many, many years. The only thing that’s ever changed has been the price.
