Harbin - how many days and how to get to the Snow Village?

Dear All,

I'm going to Harbin next month. I'm considering staying there for 3 or 4 days. Which option would be best? My main interest lies in Russian architecture and the Ice Festival. I'd also like to visit the Snow Village (Xuexiang or Shuangfeng, I'm not sure which of the two names is the right one) but I don't know how I can get there from Harbin and make it back on the same day.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

Hi again,

My friends opt for 3 days... and I think that 4 days would be better. What do you think?

Hey. I am going to harbin this month on the 12th and will stay for three days. From what i heard from my friend, 3 days will be enough unless you have plans to visit some other places away from harbin. When are you planning to be there?

3 Full days was fine, but there are a lot of other little things to do if you want to fill a 4th day, or be less rushed.
Some of the sites are...not central.
