bicycle on train or ship it - during Tet
I will be traveling from Hanoi to Dong Hoi on February 12-13 (overnight). I have a bicycle that needs to get from Hanoi to Dong Hoi too. Someone told me that none of the trains running during Tet have freight cars. First off, anyone know if this is true? If it is, do you think they'll let me take my bike in the sleeper car? If not, then I guess my only option would be to ship the bike to Dong Hoi. Anyone have any experience with this? Recommendations on who to use? Know how long it'll take to arrive?Thanks in advance!
