Did you enter it with the word Lonely Planet on the end? Like this, I tried on Firefox and Internet Explorer, worked both times as the first choice on google -

Its odd that some stuff Ive been looking for of mine is unfindable and other stuff from almost a year ago is still there.
This one about PNB is from Feb/12, all I did was type "PNB lonely planet" and it came up.

But when I look for a thread I started around the same time (The witches of Siquijor) I get the "Error The thread requested is not currently available" message. Could it be that the topic is now not considered relevant to the travel forums?

Perhaps. The message on the Community FAQ and at the start of each branch said the mods would be going through the archives and deleting off topic threads. I think your Witches of Siquijor thread may be a casuality.

I personally think that travel isn't just about 'travel' questions per se...it's about having a broader understanding of the country you are visiting and little tit bits like the 'witches' thread gives a good insight into a country. But hey, that's just my opinion!

I thought so as well as the 1500 other people who had checked out that thread, it was kind of fun and told a little of what Filipino's think about their own country and customs. Before my GF raised a bit of a fuss about going there I had no idea there was such deep rooted feelings about the island.

It could be the word "w itche s". Software filter method or some such. Otherwise it doesn't make sense. It is still an attraction of Siquijor therefore travel related.
