Connecting flights from Montreal to New York via Toronto
Hi everyone,I am flying from Montreal to New York and Porter Airlines has a good deal going on at the moment with a connecting flight at Toronto.
The problem is that there is only 45 min in between the flight from Montreal to Toronto and the one from Toronto to New York (EWR).
Is there enough time for the transfer? I assume that I will need to move between terminals from Domestic to International? This is my first time dealing with connecting flights so I'm a bit unsure about the process and time required.
Thanks

Your are taling Domestic to International, but are you sure you are travelling through Pearson airport (YYZ) and not Billy Bishop on Toronto Island (YTZ)?2
If you are flying Porter, then you are going through Billy Bishop in downtown Toronto. It's a tiny airport.4
If you are indeed booking on Porter all the way (Montreal to Toronto to Newark), a 45-minute transfer time is not a problem. Their on-time performance is good and the gates are like five metres apart... one lounge serves all departures. There is no US customs pre-clearance, so you do not have to factor in any time for that. Returning from Newark to Toronto, you do have to clear Canadian customs before proceeding to Montreal. Again, if you book all the way through in a single booking on Porter, they will give you a connecting time that makes sense.
