The best months to travel in Colombia

i know there are any number of answers to this question depending on which region, but I am weighing a trip to Colombia in late April against a family visit in Israel. I can also visit Colombia in November. I am not looking for ideal weather, but enough pleasant days to enjoy outdoor activties.

We were in Colombia last November; the Zona Cafetera was very wet (rain most days for the entire afternoon), Tayrona Park had rain some days as well and the trek to Cuidad Perdida was very very muddy in places. Bogota was dry but very cloudy most of the time and so was Medellin. Around San Agustin and Popoyan we had the occasional downpour but definitely not daily.
Overall, the rain was never bad enough to stop us from doing stuff, so i'd say not a reason not to go in November.

I travelled in Colombia March/April and had good weather. Can't remember any major upsets due to weather, apart from one landslide on a road and cosequently an 8-hour delay.
I did CP trek and had nice weather through entire trek, although the high humidity was pervasive.

There is no best month to travel in Colombia, it has so many diversity that everywhere is different.
It always rains in Eje Cafeteria and its always freaking hot in the carribbean! yet some areas have rainy seasons
so look for that.. overall april and november are both kinda the same!

Hello,

Last November, I was travelling in Colombia for the first time. Me too, before I was there, I was disturbing by the climate, the rain and the best combination of them.
I can't travel from December to March and during July-Augustus. Then I had choose November.
It was raining in Zona Cafetera each day but it was always after 4pm.
Rain could be a real problem for Ciudad Perdida and/or NP in the mountains but honestly can't stop you to travel in the country. Of course, it's not funny when it's raining but it's not like in Belgium, rain all the day!
I was travelling in the North.
I hope to coming back in Colombia and I will choose again November.
I wish you a good travel.
