Looking at visiting Nicaragua in FEBRUARY - providing I can snag a deal to get there.
I'm based in Montreal, but am happy to fly to Florida to score a cheap flight to Managua. I can spend a couple of days there...(Miami or Orlando).
Who would you recommend I fly with? Seems likeprices with COPA, TACA are going up. Spirit has some weird schedules...
Is there an airline I'm missing?

2American Airlines (out of Miami), United (out of Houston) and Delta (out of Atlanta) are other options to go Managua out of the USA.
I mean in addition to the airlines quoted in the OP. BTW, you could take a look at the fares of American Airlines, United and Delta from Montreal to Managua changing planes in the USA (i.e.: Don't assume that a return from Montreal (Canada) to Miami (USA) and separate return from Miami (USA) to Managua (Nicaragua) will be cheaper and/or worth the hassle of having two separate tickets).

Its be a lot cheaper to fly into Costa Rica as well, there are tow airports, LIR-Liberia is 2 hours south of the Nica border, or SJO-San Jose, 6 hours bus ride to border.
All the major airlines in the US, fly to all the capitals in Central America-
United/Continental flies from Newark direct to many capitals, as well as from Houston.
American Airlines flies from Miami/Dallas
Delta from Atlanta.
Frontier, US Air as well.
Keep in mind Spirit airlines has a ton of add on charges, even a carry on, so read the fine print. They also tend to have terrible arrival/departure times, and traveling in these capitals in the middle of the night, is not recommended nor a good idea IMO.

6Only problem is the US carriers will rip you off for an onward ticket.
Grab a cheap Megabus ticket from Montreal to Toronto, fly TACA direct to San Salvador, the one CA capital city where it is safe in the tourist areas at night, then on to Managua by TACA or Tica bus in the morning, saves the TSA foolishness in the US.

7One reason tickets to Managua are expensive is the $45 departure tax hidden in every r/t ticket. Add in the $10 arrival tax collected at immigration. This is a poor policy by the government as it discourages travelers in favor of other CA destinations.
Spirit is famous for very cheap fares and ripoff charges for everything else. Plus very long layovers in Ft. Lauderdale and midnight arrivals.
