We will be heading north toward morocco from Ghana in the next few weeks by car and have a spare seat if anyone's around looking for or knows anyone looking for a ride north in a car of questionable mechanical suitability. Looking for someone to share the experience and chuck in a few pesos towards gas. You would be joining two New Zealanders who have been on the road for about 8 months (new car tho in Africa).
Togo,Benin and Burkina Faso where on the cards but time/money have changed the plan again.
If your interested or even just curious flick me and email email@example.com or just random suggestions.
It's not our first overland adventure but suggestions or advice is always welcome

Yeah Mali isn't ideal but at the same time having talked to other overlanders we have meet recently who have had recent experience with Mali they say its functional enough to be do able.
Senegal would have been good but other people's experience there without carnet de passages put me off. Lots of yes, no, yes, no so Mali offers a more direct route all be it not the most desirable.
Well good luck to you guys with you travels south. If you need any info about the west coast/boarders/embassy's etc flick me and email and if I've been there/know anything/anyone ill tell you what I know.
Spare seats still going to anyone out there interested.
