Hotel butuan philippines
Hello,I am planning to visit Butuan, and I would like to know about any hotel's there, lodges , which are not so expensive...as I intend to stay a mimimun of 30 days. Twenty US dollars a day is about my Maximum limit on a one month stay. If an apartelle is available with kitchen facility and security that would be more better for me.Is that area congenial to tourist?
And also, how the nightlife..as I'm single and hoping to meet a nice person to show me around?
Thank you

I've stayed at Dottie's in Butuan, has a pool and includes breakfast. 1000p/nite. Probably the 2nd nicest place in town. Also stayed at the Almont City hotel, not to be confused with the Almont Inland. The Almont City doesn't have a pool but is in the downtown area and includes breakfast as well. Dotties is walking distance to the mall, and a short trike ride downtown.
Don't think there's too much to do other than the mall and the restaurants around it. There a few karaoke places that sell the rooms by the hour with unlimited drinks. I didn't spend too much time in Butuan other than at the start of 2 of my trips in the area.

If you don't know Butuan and have no lady waiting for you there, why have you chosen Butuan? If you want nightlife, you can stay in Cebu City where you will find plenty of nightlife and daytime activities.
Here is an appartelle in Cebu City which will cost you about $20 per night, with utilities

Thanks for the information about Butuan. Doesn't appear to be a happening place ..and i have been to Cebu already and I'm moving on from there. What i'm looking for actually is a fun place, good night life etc...with some malls and tourist things to do in the day time.I'm looking for a place I can fly direct into...and not get off in manila to catch some bus ride...like going to subic...or angeles city. I would really appreciate any advice with regards, and my hotel expense per day to start off is 1000p. Of course something cheaper would be better, but with some security to it. Cebu taught me well in that area,
So for you season traveller to the philippines...Im looking for good night life...available girls to party with...bar's/clubs..and direct flightl going to my destination...without having to endure some bus ride 3/4hours long.
Maybe baguio.......MY CUP IS EMPTY....help me please

This isn't the place to get advice about getting laid, its a travel forum. I can tell you Dumaguete is a nice place, things to do, a few bars along the baywalk, a good number of drunken expats, reasonably priced and easy to get to as you don't even want to expend the energy to go to AC where it sounds like you belong.11
Dumaguete is hole, fly to Clark airport, Angeles.14
Hi I am originally from Butuan. There are many cheap places to stay there like Priscilla Bed and Breakfast - http://www.mycitymybutuan.com/hotels-inns/priscilla-s . you can also download a list of apartelle/hotels to stay at : http://www.docstoc.com/docs/135279075/accomodation-hotels-innetc1 . Other cheap apartelles are Julian's Inn, Gloreto Guest House, etc. find reviews here: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g1568545-Butuan_Caraga_Region_Mindanao-Hotels.htmlNightlife is not that great in Butuan, if that is what you are looking for. We have a number of tourist attractions like falls, beaches, etc. but these places are best enjoyed if you are not alone. Nightlife is better in Cagayan de Oro CIty or Davao City. Cagayan de Oro City has much more to offer when it comes to nightlife and other tourist attractions like white water rafting in macahambus park, etc. You get the best of both worlds. Good luck!
