Camping on White Beach OmanHi all,
My girlfriend and I are leaving for Oman in a couple of weeks to go camping for 10 days.
Its our first time in Oman and our initial thought was to pick up our car and drive down to Fins to go camping on White Beach for the first night.
I am now reading on the web however that it might get busy on White beach and also that there might be cars driving up and down the beach and kids banging on drums into the early hours.
Does anybody have experience with camping on White Beach and does it get that busy? Are the any other good beaches for camping near Fins were you get some more peace and quit?
Are the beaches south of Sur good for camping?

1White beach does get busy at the weekends (Wednesday night to Friday night), and especially on public holidays, but if you're there mid-week you'll likely have the place to yourself. And there are several separate beaches so if there's a big group on one beach just keep on down the track till you find one that's empty.
South of Sur, you'll have no problems finding beaches good for camping.
Just be careful not to camp in any dry wadis.
