I vote that once the board is up and running smoothly again, we start a 'TOP-10 of Europe, based on the most randomly selected criteria we could think of' - maybe it will even turn out just like this one...

or maybe a 'TOP 10 of Europe based on all available rankings'

:-)

No Italian cities in there.

I'm not surprised ;-)

or maybe a 'TOP 10 of Europe based on all available rankings' great idea, Nautiker, here's one more.
No Italian cities in there a heads up in the next one thanks to Bologna

The best 'hotel'-towns: http://www.hospitalitynet.org/news/4044240.html

What should be the reason that these all are news-items in Calimero-country NL?

That's an interesting one arizona.

I see that London ranks last.

Does it have the worst hotels in Europe? Or traveller's / tourists whose expectations are too unrealistic? (particularly as prices are rather high)

Or is it just that people who go to stay in London like complaining more? ;-)
