we stayed in indra homestay last year, really cheap, local feeling, nice rooms, in the middle of Ubud, friendly services, wifi, breakfast, own bathroom, no air condition but ceelingfan instead.the fathers speaks english but not really good, but he picks you up from the captial or airport
