Best way to travel to bogotaI am wondering if anyone would be able to offer any advice about travelling from Myobamba to Bogota. I have approx. 8 days to get up to Botoga. At the minute I am planning on flying from Myobamba to Lima, but then am at a loss as to the best way to travel. Does anybody know how easy it is to travel via bus through Ecuador, and if so where the best places to stop off are? Or would it be more advisable to just spend more time in and around the Lima area and flying up to Botoga directly?
Thanks for your help

1It is easy to travel through Ecuador by bus, however 8 days isn't a lot of time to cover that much distance and there is a lot to see. In Eucuador I would stop off at Cuenca and Quito at the least. Banos is nice but out of your way.
Another option could be to travel to Iquitos, ride down the Amazon to Leticia and fly from there to Bogota (flying or floating are the only ways in and out of Leticia). That will mean missing out Ecuador but a ride down the Amazon is an interesting experience.
I didn't think a lot of Lima (though I did enjoy the walking tour).
Either way, have fun
