Hi allGoing to Madagascar in July and August we are planning to fly to Sambava to see some “vanilla”. Can anybody recommend any place to visit?
Maybe there are other places to visit if we want to see plantations with vanilla and buy some.
Next question: Is it possible to go from Sambava to Nosy Be by car? Or is it to difficult?

The business of vanilla is very awesome in Sambava. Indeed, you can visit some place and everything depends on your deal. Business always has his secret, then you are invited to negotiate or simply ask local guys.From Sambava, you can reach Nosy Be passing by Ambilobe. The road condition is very hard and 4wd is needed during the rain season. I pesume that August is the begining of good season.
