Accomodaion in Rutinda, Lake BunyonyiHello! I've read the posts about places to stay on Lake Bunyonyi, and most seem to recommend either Byoona Amagara and Bunyonyi Overland Resort. I'd prefer to stay close to Rutinda (rather than on an island), and I've had negative experiences staying at resorts where overland safaris stop, so... I was wondering if anyone who has been there recently knows of budget or mid-range accommodation in or close to Rutinda.
Also, if I arrive in Rutinda without booking a room in advance, is it easy to walk around and check out a few places, or are they few and far between?
Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!

1Crater bay cottages is by far the best place to stay on Lake Bunyonyi for backpackers in my opinion. 'rooms' are $10 but you can haggle them. I say rooms, they are really windowless cells but for $3 or so, who cares, you only need it to sleep in. Its right next to overlanders and you can swim or walk their in minutes but crater bay has a nicer sun deck and in general it is a nicer place. Overland is full of either obnoxious overlanders or simply empty and it will take 1-3 hours for food to be served. Boonya Amagara a lot of people like, but its about an hour from the mainland and I felt it was like a concentration camp and it is very expensive, never seen the fuss and the water there is very reed-filled and unpleasant for swimming. Remember that Bunyonyi is around the highest lakes in Uganda and Africa and if its nit clear and sunny, it is VERY cold!
