Let's try your Sherlockian trivia fernweh87.

Where would you go in Switzerland as a Holmes fan? No Googling allowed.

I agree with some of the other posts: quite OK trip in my opinion, except this little things (Gorges du Verdon it´s quite far from Paris). Also, Stonehenge it´s not very close to London, you will need a full day to go there from London and go back (perhaps London-Bath and from there in bus or London-Salisbury-Amesbury and walk)

In my opinion, the most logical way to go would be London (fly to)- Berlin (train to) - Amsterdam/Netherlands (train to) Paris - (train to) south France if you really want to visit the Gorges) - train to (Venice) and so on to Rome.

If you can´t change this, then for sure take a plane from Berlin to Venice. Also in Italy if you have time, Florence it´s quite nice; (Pisa has the "Campo dei miracoli" with the tower and the bassilica, but can be seen in a day quite good)

Have fun

PD. You can do this trip much more cheap than 18000€/person. If you book in advance the plane tickets, mayor train tickets (London-Paris; Paris-Amsterdam, etc.) and use average hotels you can do it with 3 times less money (unless you will shop a lot of things ;) )
