Anyone been to Marino las Baulas National Park, Guanacaste?

I was wondering if anyone has been to Marino las Baulas National Park, Guanacaste.
Looking for suggestions for the park. I have read there is a mangrove. Are there any suggestions that you have that we can do by ourselves rather than have to spend a lot on a tour?

I know that at certain times of the year we can see the turtles laying their eggs.

Also, is anyone familiar with a website that talks about trails at the national parks?

Thanks so much:)

The beach areas are manned by by park staff, you need to be escorted to the areas on the beach with turtles nesting, as you can use flashlights or camera/phone flashes either. As for the park itself, you can drive to entrance and or the hotel at the end of the road at the beach, Los Turtuga.

Hi SoloHobo...I am aware of the turtles and would feel so honoured to see them...but is there anything else to do there?
Our hotel is very close by and wondering if we could spend a few days exploring...

Thanks:)
