barcelona with kids
Hi -In July we are traveling to Barcelona, Granada, Seville, Madrid, Segovia, and maybe Carcasonne with a 13 yr old with aspergers and a 16yr old. We are excited, but concerned because of the heat. To make things most comfortable for our 13yr old we need hotels with a pool and near public transport. Any thoughts? Any hotels with rooms to sleep 4? Near a nice beach in Barcelona? Thanks1

Generally not 4 adults (12 years or over is considered to be adult for sleeping purposes). You should be able to ask for connecting rooms though.Barcelona has 1 local beach that is closest to the city - Barcelonetta. It's quite nice. There are other beaches a little further away from city centre.

All the beaches in Barcelona are close to the city, as the yellow L4 metro line passes all of them. Barceloneta is the worst by far, Mar Bella and the beaches next to it the best.It is hot in July in Barcelona, but it is doable. Not like August.
