Cebu Pacific cancellations

Has anyone any experince of getting refunds when cancelling a Cebu Pacific flight? Will probably do it in person at a CP outlet. Many thanks for any advice..

We haven't cancelled a flight but we did have Cebu Pacific cancel one on us about 18 months ago. Surprisingly the refund was back on my card within 30 days. I think their refund procedure has got better, probably best that you are doing it at an actual office.

I canceled one about a year ago, Davao/Manila. I called their service line via skype but was completely out of luck, had to eat it. It was a sale price which are not refundable or even eligible for a travel credit. Lucky flights are so cheap!

Me being very budget conscious, yes it was a sale price, maybe they are not refundable. The situation is that I planned to fly Cebu/Manila/Catanduanes with my GF but family problems mean she cant come. Maybe I change her flights into one of my expat friends names so they can come along??

Fares are non-refundable but rebookable subject to Php 1,000 rebooking fee for domestic -then have to pay the diff between promo fare and current fare ,so probably cheaper to get new ticket if wanted companion ,,

Thanks Irishman12, in that case I will probably just cancel the unwanted flights and my friend can organise his own..

What I was trying to do at the time was substitute Butuan for Davao, they wouldn't have any part of that. I guess its different if you just want to change fight times from the same airport.

You won't be able to change passenger names yourself even if you were the one who paid it. It has to be the passenger (the name printed on the ticket) who can only do that. Tried this before. Also promo fares are non-refundable, non transferable. If you have the e-ticket, the T&C is usually listed.
