astrassb agree, Con Dao is a great option and really short cheap flight from HCMC. Basically you can be on the beach in about an hour from leaving HCMC.16
The gov in Nha Trang are now talking about stopping tour boats in the bay. The boys in brass realize now there is a big turd problem. The toilets from the boats flush out into the bay and float towards NT beach.See what happens...it nay be just another NATO...No Action Talk Only!

We will probably want to stay somewhere for about four nights to recharge our batteries and have about a maximum of $120USD a night to splash out for a double room.At that rate per night you will need a class area, good amenities, definitely air con, nice ensuite etc. Con Dao and Phu Quoc would be ideal without wasting time running all over the place. Air Mekong is also a great flight option.

The beach at Nha Trang is nice enough but not special and wouldnt go there if out of your way.23
Agree Jeff. Saigon Phu Quoc is a nice civilized tropical resort in a good location with plenty of coconut palms around it.
