Visa exemption

Hi everyone, I have seen some similar posts but nothing that answers this exact question..
I will fly into Bangkok on Saturday and get a 30 day visa exemption.

I then plan on going to straight to Cambodia for a week, before meeting my friends in Bangkok where I plan on staying for 19 days. When I cross the border from Cambodia to Thailand I will get a 15 day visa exemption.

My question is, because I originally flew in to Bangkok will I be able to use the 30 day visa exemption when I return to Thailand or will that become void as soon as I leave Thailand?
Thanks!

By going straight to Cambodia you're throwing away the 30 days you got by air arrival. Coming back by land you start over again with 15 days. If that's not enough, fly back in to get another 30 days OR go to immigration to extend 7 days for 1900 baht (OR change your plans so 15 days is enough).

OR buy a 60 day visa for use on the return making sure it is not activated on the arrival by air (tick the no box on the entry card and explain to the immigration it is for when you come back into Thaoland overland)
