honeymoon in south africa

Hi,

My husband and I (both live in Pakistan) are going to South Africa for our honeymoon in the beginning of February and are currently in the process of booking hotels and flights - wanted your feedback on a few things since we heard about the floods in Kruger and are really confused now because we don't know if this is the best time to go or not..

This is our itinerary so far:

Lahore (Pakistan) to Dubai - 1st Feb (2 nights in Dubai for the shopping festival)

Dubai to Johannesburg - 3rd Feb (2 nights in Johannesburg)

Johannesburg to Cape Town - 5th Feb (7 nights in Cape Town - including 3 day safari somewhere near Cape Town)

Cape Town to Lahore - 12th Feb

We were planning on going to Kruger for a 3 day safari but just found out about the floods - please suggest where we should consider going for a safari since I heard a lot of national parks are closed down because of the floods..

Also please recommend some good hotels in Cape Town and Johannesburg our budget is about $100/night.
