Taxis at the airport in the wee hours of the night
My wife and I will be arriving in Doha around 1:40 AM. We hope to take a taxi to my son's apartment in downtown Doha. Are there taxis available at that hour, is it safe enough to just take one and give him the address? Or is it something we should try to arrange ahead of time.Thanks,

I arrived about that time in Doha, and there were plenty of taxis. Drivers will approach you, best to go with an official firm and make sure they use the meter. There's no need to be concerned with your safety, so long as you don't get into a private vehicle. Local residents may like to suggest reputable taxi firms.ADVERTISEMENT
