16 day european trip

Hi everyone. Just hoping to get some thoughts and advice on a trip that myself and a couple of friends are planning. First of all, i know amsterdam and berlin will come under western europe potentially, however the first 3 destinations fall into this catagory.

Generally a group of 5 lads with an interest of spending the days sightseeing around the cities visiting the various cathedrals, museums, auschwitz etc. And for the night times, we will be interested in going out to bars/clubs/partying. So its basically a combination of two goals.

At the minute the plan seems to be:

Sat 20th July – Manchester to Prague
Sunday 21st July – Prague
Monday 22nd July – Prague
Tuesday 23rd July – Prague to Budapest
Wednesday 24th July – Budapest
Thursday 25th July – Budapest
Friday 26th July – Budapest to Krakow
Saturday 27th July – Krakow
Sunday 28th July – Krakow
Monday 29th July – Krakow to Berlin
Tuesday 30th July- Berlin
Wednesday 31st July – Berlin
Thursday 1st August – Berlin to Amsterdam
Friday 2nd August – Amsterdam
Saturday 3rd August – Amsterdam
Sunday 4th August – Amsterdam to Manchester

We haven't plan to the extent of deciding if any of our journeys will be overnight sleepers. These trains appeal to us in the sense that we wont be wasting a full day travelling, and we will also be saving on accommodation.

Any advice on hostels, must see destinations, the weather best bars, clubs etc is much appreciated.

Thank you

There's a little bit of backtracking going on. I'd change the order. Fly into Krakow, then go Budapest, Prague, Berlin, Amsterdam. (Or alternately fly to Budapest.)

I think for a couple of the legs, overnight trains will be your only direct option.

Agree with @#1, swap your route around to what's suggested. Ryanair fly LPL-KRK on July 20th, £30 cheaper than from MAN.
