My partner and I have booked a weeks snowboarding in Bansko in the middle of March.
I was wondering... is it possible to go over to Borovets for a day riding and come back on the same day. I'm only really interested if this is a regular schedule ski bus or similar. We are happy to be up early and back late but I'm not really keen on turning it into some kind of epic mission or paying hundreds for a taxi!
I'd also be very grateful for any other interesting day trips from Bansko that time of year that are easy to arrange. Our main interest is photography so impressive landscapes, monasteries etc are the kind of thing we'd be after.
Last question... any recommendations for guides in Bansko to take us to off piste areas?

http://www.rilamonasteryshuttle.com/This might be OK for you,it picks up in Bansko.I can only find privately organised trips to places near Bansko,like Rila and the small town of Melnik.The prices look expensive,but the link I gave you seems more reasonable.Nothing to Borovets that I can see yet.
