EBC in April

Hi, I'm looking for someone to join me for the Everest Base Camp around mid April. Will be carrying my own pack, with no guide.

Male, 28, Australia-Vietnamese and easy going.

Hi

Good luck on finding buddies but if you have no luck in finding partners before you go there are opportunities in Nepal. In the bars in Thamel, at the airport and on the flight to Lukla (or bus to Jiri), in the lodges and on the trail itself.

You could also try googling 'trek info' and 'trekking partners'.

Great suggestions by Scoodly, I would also add that, when you go for the TIMS you can also chat to people there (TIMS Office) and you will find someone.

Also, I assume the Kathmandu Guest House in Thamel still has a noticeboard? I went there alone years ago and found a trek partner straight away. After a few days of walking, the group was as large as 11 trekkers, as we met up with other groups.

Not a problem for Ev in peak season...
