Applying for Russian visa in Oz
I'm intending on applying for a 3 month Russian Business visa in Syders soon and wanted to know how long it will be valid for. i.e. will I have 3 months or 6 months to enter Russia from the date of receiving the visa.If you can only comment on receiving a tourist visa I would still be keen to know how many months they give to enter the country.

They put a date on the visa and for a single entry its valid for 90 days. You can enter and leave anytime in that period. For double/multiple entries, the same thing, but you can have numerous entries up to 90 days in length.They never told me how far in advance you could get a visa, but as it has a date on it... although that is not always safe as I found out last year trying to reenter china.....
