cheap hostels yangon, rangoon

Hi there,
I'm planning a trip to Myanmar and looking for cheap hostels in Yangon. The information is not that easy to find on the net, can anyone help me with contact info (mail or tel) and rates of cheap hostels there ?

For now I have found those
Okinawa guest house, i can't find any contact info
Grace I or II hotel (http://www.pyinoolwin.info/grace.htm), 4-8usd, but no contact info
Mother land inn 2 (http://www.myanmarmotherlandinn.com/motherland-inn/myanmar-hotel-inn-roomrate.htm) but the rate is 22usd
Ocean pearl inn (http://www.myanmarhotel-budget.com/index.htm) ...25 usd

Any other suggestion ?

Thanks !
PIerre

Yep, cheap is problem. You may have more luck once you have your feet on the ground and can spend some time wandering. So if you are flying into Yangon, then places like Motherland do have airport pickup, so that will save you a few dollars off the price. Motherland seem to respond to emails quickly.

Thanks for your answers, actually I have just realized that Grace I or II hotel is in Pyin Oo Lwin, not Yangon...

As jon says above...Motherland 2 do free pick-up and if you email them, they will answer you in a few hours....telling you what is available.

Don't know if its any good as I have never stayed there though ;-)

Re #4 Motherland 2 is OK, but because it is recommended in the LP, its very popular, and subsequently also probably a bit overpriced.
