traveling to Europe with small children
I have never traveled anywhere before by plane, so this is not just a new experience for me, but for the whole family. My question is what extra steps will need to be taken to travel to Hungary with my small children? I want to remember everything so that I am prepared for anything....any help or advise would be greatly appreciated...1
You need to provide much more information for us to be able to help you. Where will you be travelling from? How old are the children? How long are you going to stay in Hungary? What is your reason to travel there?2
'My question is what extra steps will need to be taken to travel to Hungary with my small children?'None really. Just be wary of traffic and crowds and sort out an itinerary and accommodation in advance. Easy!

More info needed. How small are the kids and how long is the flight? If you are coming from Australia with a 3 year old the advice will be very different to coming from UK with a 7 year old. Some sort of portable entertainment device like a gameboy can be a lifesaver for hanging around airports or when flying.Once you are there though no particular steps except given the language issue you need to make sure someone can contact you if the kids get lost. Mobile phone number drawn on the forearm with indelible ink works well if you are worried about their ability to hang onto a number or articulate what it is.
