1A tiny town in Sichuan called Xigong is known for it's dinosaurs and its lantern festival. I was there many many years ago and found their lantern festival a little over rated. At the time it was "worth it if you're in the area" but not worth traveling halfway across China to see.
China has changed a lot in the past 2 decades so I can't really say for sure what it's like now, but the dinosaurs are cool either way.

5Xi'an only when lantern festival,the ancient gate of wall will be opened,I went there last month.
