Flights Belize to Jamaica
Hi we are thinking of spending about 14 days in Belize in mid March 2013 and want to fly from there to Jamaica (either Kingston or Montego Bay). Wondered (a) is this possible and if so, which airlines and (b) are there any direct flights which dont go via Miami2
No flights between Belize and Jamaica. Years ago, think it was 2003, there was a short-lived flight on Air Jamaica -- lasted a few months. You may be able to find a routing from Cancun or Panama City or maybe even Guatemala City or other capital city in Central America. Check the meta air travel sites.

Most the caribe islands are easily accessed from Miami, so no matter how you slice it, you will need to fly from BZE to another city, then to Jamaica. Miami would probably be the cheapest and fastest as it has so many daily flights, compared to Central America, which really has no ties/tourism/commercial connection to Jamaica. All the caribe islands are usually accessed easiest from Miami with the exception of Cuba.4
There aren't non-stop flights from Belize to Jamaica. You can fly from Belize to Jamaica changing planes in the USA.
If you want to avoid the USA, you can fly out of CancĂșn (or, if you prefer Guatemala or San Pedro Sula) with COPA changing planes in Panama. On some dates it's also possible to fly from la Ceiba to Kingston with Cayman Airways (changing planes in Grand Cayman).
