Amazon tours

Hello,
Has anyone any experience with either of these tour operators for Amazon trips: Amazon Gero Tours or Amazon Green Day Tours ?
I am trying to decide between them - they are the two top recommended tour companies according to TripAdvisor reviews, but I am wondering how authentic some of the five star reviews actually are.
Thanks
Craig

Hi,
When are you going?
I did a lot of research before my trip and decided on TarzanLink Name. It wasn't very reassuring when he'd asked 3 times for my flight arrival details. But I have to admit, from the moment he and wife (not Jane but Cris) had picked us up from the airport, it'd been a dream holiday! It took us boat-van-boat over 3 hours to get to his lodge on Rio Juma and we had a real jungle experience! It was pretty much a private tour over 6 days. I'm about to write up a full review so keep a look out!
It made our NYE all that much more special having spent it with the locals :)

We are a tour agency in the Pantanal. We know of Gero. We had a tour group that arrived here in Coxim Mato Grosso do Sul after having a very"AMAZING" tour in Manaus...so amazing in fact that they had to report the trip to the Tourist authorities. Gero helped them at his own expense to file the police report. We don“t have familiarity with the other agency in question. In our book Gero is a good guy.

Make sure the company has a valid Cadastur registry.

Gero Tours has one, Green tours not like most of the tour operator in Manaus.

We went with Manaus Booking, cheaper than Gero, we rented a river boat and cruised up the Rio Negro.
Excellent organization. http://manausbooking.com

Hi,

Good evening all it is my first time writte on thorntree forum, so i don't care what competition say about my company, i just care what we do, that is more import for our clients, if you look at our website you will see all the register number.
but i think people could check in each website if they have register number like we do.
