Bora Bora weather

Is anyone there right now and able to comment on the weather? We are arriving Bora Bora Thursday and from what I can tell the forecast is for thunderstorms, rain, etc. Are the rains briefly passing w/periods of sunshine or all day rains? Fingers crossed!

Forecasts for Bora and most polynesian islands will often be thunderstorms due to its location on the globe but dont worry, you'll get plenty of sunshine
