Hiya,
I'll be travelling in Japan for 2 weeks more or less the same time (1st-14th April).
Start in Osaka, then Kyoto, Nara, Kobe, Hiroshima/Miyajima, Nagasaki and Kagoshima...
Budget trip, although not strictly speaking, if you know what I mean.
Japan is rather specific and quite a few backpackers struggle en route to squeeze in their (pre planned) budgets hence my flexibility within reasonable frames, of course.
Let me know if you're interested and (roughly speaking) what are your expectations in terms of spare time, places, etc. Also, have you got any previous experience with Asian / Japanese backpacking?

Generally speaking, I’m relaxed, easy going kinda guy, happy to compromise on details when necessary & fairly well travelled (Siberia & Russian Far East, South Korea, China, Thailand, etc.)
Keen on culture, local customs, people and nature as much as possible. Occasional party / shopping trip is an option although not a priority - I'd rather concentrate on other aspects mentioned before...
