We are heading to Poland next June (2 weeks) and we are planning. We will stay in Gdansk, Torun, Warsaw and we will visit Krakow and Wroclaw for sure.
We visited Czech Republic twice in the past and really liked it.
I am desperately looking for a reason to cross the border and have a daytrip (or 2?) in Czech Republic from Krakow or Wroclaw. Is something worth a visit in this czech region?
Otherwise we will still have plenty to visit in Poland.
Thank you for your help.

1If you have only two weeks for the trip I would spend all of it in Poland seeing the places you have already mentioned and heading east to Lublin and Zamosc if you had any more time. Krakow and Wroclaw are too far from the Czech border to make day trips to any worthwhile Czech destinations feasible (at least four hours of travel each way by public transport), and there are many excellent day trips to make within Poland from both of those cities. See a list of day trip options from Wroclaw here; combining a visit to Ksiaz castle and Swidnica to see the UNESCO-listed wooden Church of Peace makes a good day trip. One of the best Czech attractions just across the border is the Adršpach-Teplice rock cities which offer excellent hiking (see here), but it's too far to get there and back in a day from Wroclaw. If you did want to cross the border and spend a few days in the region near the rock cities, the towns of Náchod, Nové Město nad Metují and Kuks are also worth visiting, as is the city of Hradec Králové.

2Thank you very much for your answer. Czech Republic will be for another trip. Too many destinations in Eastern Europe...
We already know Goulash Train blog, which is pretty awesome. We "discovered" daytrips in our last european trip and we think it's a great way to view further than the big cities. We'll take a good look at the blog a try a few of those suggestions.

3#1, How would you compare the Adršpach-Teplice rock cities to the nearby Gory Stołowe National Park in Poland? They are clearly part of the same range of rocks
Your blog looks very exciting. I am sure it will give me many great ideas. Thank you for sharing all this info.
