Climate surrounding Sydney.

Hi everyone, what's the daily weather like in the city of Sydney, as well as the northeastern region of NSW (coastal, as well as outback areas surrounding Dubbo, and Bourke), in the months of April, and May.

Thanks.

Suggest you look at a weather site like www.bom.gov.au

In the west of NSW it is cold at night but usually an azure clear blue sky day follows.

Sydney is warm during the day and coolish at night.
April/May is mid autumn

How about autumn colours, when they do usually come out in red, gold, and orange deciduous leaves>

Autumn colours are mostly the same as summer, winter and spring colours - the indigenous plants are evergreen.

Some towns and cities (such as Canberra and Melbourne) have many European and North American trees in gardens and as street trees, and these will start to change colour around March - April. In southern NSW you will see poplars and willows in the farmland.

I find that I can get wonderful autumn colours from camphor laurels at any time of the year by frill cutting and brushing on a little Tordon or Grazon.

Ah so what is furthest north in NSW I could expect to find trees that change colour?

Murwillumbah. In December the Poincianas and the flame trees turn a brilliant red, the jacarandas a stunning purple.

Tenterfield. Anywhere along the New England Highway (which is north of Sydney)
