Chad Visa in Cairo?
Hey Everyone!Just wondering if any non-egyptians had picked up a visa for chad in Cairo. I went there and they wanted plane ticket, travel agency invitation and a letter from embassy.
Canada doesnt give out a letter...
anyone know a way around that?
(and im travelling overland so I cant give a plane ticket)
any useful/helpful information is very much appreciated!

Many embassies in Cairo request LOI letter for country embassy.As Canada is part of commonwealth maybe you could contact British, or Australia, New Zealand to see if they will issue a letter simply to LOI) Stating
I can confirm that Mr …….. Is Commonwealth citizen his passport issue …….. His expire………… he plans are travel to country ……….

Just to update: The Canadian embassy will not issue any letters to any other embassies. I tired to get a letter stating that they will not a write a letter (to whom it may concern) but I was refused that as well.It is possible to get a letter stating that you are a canadian citizen, but only if you have a birth certificate. Passport does not prove you are canadian to a canadian embassy.
Chad embassy has told me they will give me a visa after I get my sudanese visa...time for a fake airplane booking to get my sudan visa.then hopefully my chad visa...
how i loathe visa's...

To get a Sudan visa you will need a letter of invitation or a letter from your embassy again...
