Renewing tourist visa from El Cafayate to Ushuaia
Hey all, just had a question I'm hoping someone can answer for me.I'll be headed out from El Calafate in a few days to head south to Ushuaia but I just realized I'm almost out of days on my visa. I know that in order to get to Ushuaia you need to actually travel through Chile. Would anyone be able to tell me whether this would allow me to get a new stamp on my passport for another 90 days when I come back into Argentina on the same bus that I left on?
My only other option would be to try to get a bus to Punta Arenas then another to Ushuaia but I wouldn't want to waste my time if I can get the renewal on the direct bus anyway.
Any input from people who have gone through those border crossings would be appreciated.

What nationality you are from? There basically no limits of how many days a year you can spend in Argentina if you are on visa waiver (not sure about tourists visas), it means that after 90 days is enough to do a "border run" and you get extra 90 days.3
You will get 90 days more except if you are one of th efew nationalities who need visas in advance. Not nevesary top go to Punta Arenas. All buses go through Monte Aymond and San Sebastian
