Air Mad Domestic Flights?Hi travellers,
I am busy planning our trip to Madagascar and keep seeing references to the half price domestic flights from Air Mad, if your international flight is with them. I was wondering if anyone has made use of this and how it works?
Do you have to book the internal flights at the same time as the international ones?
If not is it easy to book the domestic flights later?
If so - How do you prove your flight purchase?
Is it only possible to book with Air Mad via their website or are travel brokers (such as Trailfinders) able to provide them?
Any advice will be very useful as we will be struggling to fit our travels in a 2-3 week break and I am also getting the feeling we need to be quite flexible and relaxed with travel plans in Madagascar :o)
- which is harder when on a time budget.
P.S. Deciding between May (low season) or September (baby lemurs & whales) for travelling - any preferences?

1You dont have to book all the flights together ,in order to get the discount on domestic flights. In the past i have shown my flight intinerary including flight numbers etc and i got the discount. In your case ,seeming you have such a limited time it may be best to book all your flights together.I have never had much luck with the Air mad website. It never seems to be working although i am not sure if it is at this point in time.I always found the best way to book my flights was by calling the Air mad call centre which is in Paris.Last time i tried it was also possible to pay over the phone using credit card. The number for the call centre is on the website. Getting the discount is a bonus as internal flights are quite expensive.

2MODS: if you are listening, this is a perfect example of why we need the search function back. There are several terrific threads on this very subject, but it's hopeless to try to find them.
4d: from memory: you can buy the domestic flights later, but consider if you are using popular and/or infrequent routes as flights may fill up. Posts by Marogisa before the Thorntree shutdown indicated that the discount function was not working on the AirMad website. The entire site is down today anyway. If it comes back: to search flights (to build your itinerary), start with the tab in the upper left corner. I think "Reservation et echat", then select "Programme de vols".
I found this one older thread that might be helpful: http://www.lonelyplanet.com/thorntree/thread.jspa?threadID=2277076
Using the Call Center may be your best bet. There may be a U.K. number as well, but you'll need the site to come back before you can find that.
