SUPERFOODS - MACA/CHIA/ACAI
Hi,I was hoping to get to Peru this year but it now looks like I am not going to be able to travel. I was going to be looking for growers/producers/distributors of the Maca, Chia and Acai. Does anybody have any contacts that could point me in this direction so I can do this via the internet perhaps? or details of trade fairs even?
Any information would be appreciated,
Vx

Why would you bother with those fruits when you can drink "Frog in a Blender" in Peru?2
It is mostly sold as a powder and in its whole form looks a little like a radish. The story goes that the Incan warriors used to consume large quantities of Maca before battle because of its rousing effect on stamina, energy, mood, and libido. Apparently, the effects were so strong, that Maca was banned after battle to protect the women from the conquered villages from the warriors in their roused state. Sounds all good so far, right?!
