Ireland in early May

Trying to get my tour of Ireland together.
I would be most grateful if those of you who have visited, or who live there, could tell me your favourite places to visit. I am not one for pubs and clubs but enjoy scenery and ruins, castles and pretty towns etc etc. I'll be driving and only have 7 days.
