Flights / transport to mainland?
Howdy all,I'm looking at making POS my gateway into South America.
Any current info or advice for inexpensive transport from Trinidad to major points or the coast of South Am?

A few years ago I took a flight with Aeropostal from POS to Caracas.2
By ferry, the only option is Pier1 ferry to Venezuela.By air, take a look at Caribbean Airlines to Caracas, Georgetown or Paramaribo, Surinam Airways to Paramaribo and Conviasa to Porlamar (be aware Porlamar is in an island though). Not sure if Aeropostal keeps flying from Port of Spain to Caracas but you could research it. To other destinations in South America, take a look at COPA changing planes in Panama.

Aeropostal don't show any flights POS-CCS, and even if they did I would choose Caribbean over Aeropostal.
