Pls help me complete this itineraryAfter some research and advice from fellow Thorntree members here, I've shortlisted the destinations below to include in my 21 day trip to China in August.
I'm flying in Guangzhou and out of Beijing.
I definitely want to visit/do Guilin, Li and Yulong Rivers, Yangshuo, Longji (rice terraces) and Beijing.
Then I am torn between the following options (presuming I can't do 2 of them):
What do you recommend? Any tips on time I should dedicate for each would be appreciated too.

7Definitely Yunnan province! Kuming it's a nice, laid-back city although it;s a bit cold at the moment (yesterday 0 degrees and we have no heating or hot water... I think a lot of buildings don't have heating).
- Take the bus to Dali, rent a bike to cycle around the lake.
- Move on to Lijiang, it's reallt touristy but staying at Mama Naxi guesthouse is great! (or at least it was 5 years ago... she bought me a cake for my birthday)
- Arrange the Tiger Leaping Gorge from there
- Move on to Shangri La or Lugu Hu
- You can also visit the rice terraces in Xishuangbanna. I've been to the Longjing-rice terraces and wasn't that impressed. I think the one's in Xishuangbanna are better!
- All these suggestions are a bit standard but there's a reason there so populair.
Also watch out for fake money in the non-official busses between Guilin Yangshou. Try not to pay with a 100-yuan-bill beause they will try to swop it for a fake one (by saying they don't have any change). One time the even gave me a second fake one after I just caught them handing me the first fake one ;)

12"panda factory" - quite an apt description for the panda parks in Chengdu!
Your itinerary still looks a little packed - seems like it is copied from a tour company, and they do pack things in - you will get an hour looking at the rice terraces, while actually you might prefer to spend a night or two there just relaxing or doing a longer walk.
I'd spend a couple of days in Dali, and one in Lijiang either side of TLG. That would fill up your schedule at a more relaxed pace.
