My comment had no inplications regarding your question poppageorge. More just a general comment on how people perceive traffic.

When I lived on a Greek island I would never entertain driving into the town to have a cup of coffee when it was 'rush hour' with all the Moms picking up kids at school and causing a 'traffic jam' right on the street where the Kafenion I went to was. Any more than 10 vehicles was considered heavy traffic.

So my point really is that a traffic jam or heavy traffic or slow traffic is all relative to what you are used to and expect and any answer of that kind will be subjective depending on the individuals perception.

When I lived in Scotland where roads are narrow, winding and passing is not always easy, traffic was limited to the speed of the slowest truck or a car towing a trailer. Travelling a 100 miles could take half a day.

Nor are map sites like Mapquest or Michelin any good for trying to find out how much time to allow for a given route. They generally assume that you will drive non-stop at the posted speed limit.

So in regards to your question itself, I would say that rather than asking is it slow, which is a subjective question, I would ask what is the average, minimum and maximum time taken to make the drive, which is an objective question to which factual answers can be given.

I believe that gambling is illegal in Andorra.

Leave your jacket at home, Poppageorge. There is no casino in Andorra.

I just had a look on the net and there used to be slot machines in bars until 1997, but winners didn't get money but prizes. Then they were ruled illegal.

All there is to do in Andorra is go skiing in winter, or hiking and duty-free shopping at other times.

maybe poppa, who's wont to the occasional mind ramble, especially when leaving the house without medication, is mixing up Monaco and Andorra (both principalities on the Southern edge of France)?

This thread discussed the dress code for the casino there

LOL, jumping from Andorra to Monaco without mentioning the move in location is more than going off topic.

When I click on that link MTL, all I get is a 'reply to' box. Can't see the thread.

When a dress code says 'jacket' or 'jacket and tie' poppageorge it is not referring to a windbreaker. So it's a suit or a sports jacket and slacks. Not jeans and a windbreaker.

Monaco now has 5 different casinos and they don't all have the same dress code. I believe that the Sun Casino (formerly Loew's) is the most relaxed.

In France there are also Casino supermarkets where you can wear a windbreaker.

There certainly should be no 'grande' casino in any French-speaking country since a casino could only be 'grand' as it is a word of masculine gender. Someone should therefore inform James Bond that there can be no 'Casino Royale' but only a 'Casino Royal.'

went there got back. more sizzle than steak unless into snow skiing not worth the driv e but appears nice for those wanting a snow skiing vacation. shopping realy a waste unless you alcoholic and heavy booze use your style the 24 euro tyre grips needed as road out closed in the evening due to snow storm and very icyroads but amazing daughter took all the inclement driving conditions in stride, next day
